Skill is defined as an athlete’s ability to choose and perform the right techniques at the right time, successfully, regularly and with a minimum effort. Technical skills are one of the most important factors of success in sports. Being able to have mastered technical skills increase the possibility of performing efficiently during exercise maximizing the benefits from each action during a match.
Coaching technical skills as the main objective is to first learn how to perform appropriate the specific skill, and then to maintain the same skill level under several different conditions.
ECE-Soccer training is based on the science of “Neuroscience Training in Sports” which begins with mental training, ideomotor representation etc.
The methodological approach is carried out with specific designed measures based on the phases of motor learning.
Our skill sessions is an important part of soccer specific adaptation where the brain-body co-ordination is developed. Our small group sessions where we focus on the following age specific components:
- Ball handling
- Advanced skills
- Attacking and defending
- Creating the two footed player
